The six Miracles Leagues in western PA have joined together to better serve families with special needs children and adults in the local area.  MiracleLeagueBaseball.org is the centralized portal for local area Miracle League information.

“Every Child Deserves A Chance To Play Baseball”

That statement tells you what the local Miracle Leagues stand for. We provide the opportunity for children and adults with special needs to play organized baseball on a team. Each Miracle League has a “Miracle Field” that is all-weather and free of obstacles so players with wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or mobility issues can play unencumbered. We are all inclusive for a player with a diagnosed disability. The minimum age is 5 years old and we have different offerings for players with different abilities.

“Our Volunteers Make It Happen”

Without our volunteers there would be no Miracle Leagues. Anyone 12 years old and older can be a volunteer. Buddies help and protect the players. We have positions for Managers, Coaches, Buddy Team Leaders, Announcers, Umpires, and Team Parents. As many of our Volunteers say, “You will get back more in smiles and hugs from Players than you would ever imagine.”

Players can sign up for the Miracle Division which offers a non-competitive, safe environment allowing all children and adults to play baseball. The highlights of the Miracle Division are a two inning game, every player bats each inning, no outs/strikes are called, and no team wins or loses. Each player is assigned a Buddy to assist and protect the player.

Players can sign up for the Competitive Division which offers a competitive, safe environment allowing children and adults the chance to play a more competitive level of basebal. The highlights of the Competitive Division are a 2-4 inning game, outs are called, score is kept so there are winning and losing teams. It is optional for a player to have a Buddy.
